Home tour

This post is about our humble little home. The reason I decided to make such a post is not because I think our home is the bee's knees, it's just simply because many people in our family have not had the chance to come and visit us and this way they can still see the place.

Also, it is our first home together and we have made a lot memories here already so it is fun to just document our little space and write a bit about it. Besides...I like to see other people's spaces so...yeah. Here is ours...

Since we are the first home owners of this house, we have had the privilege of working with a blank canvas. Hope the next people enjoy...or like to paint.

The kitchen is small, but enough for two and a baby. Believe it or not it was one the things that made me love this house.

An updated picture... I took the others in October.

The kitchen opens to the living room. Note dog photo bomber.

Other half...

This room doesn't seem this bright normally...but I like using more natural tones here.

Entry way complete with wedding pictures :)

Our bedroom (why did I use a flash???) The wish tree on our dresser is sweet reminder from one of our wedding showers

Guest bathroom...mermaid chillin' on the tub

Before: Guest room (before the nursery redo)

Before: The "purple" room (now Ellie's nursery)

The purple room now as Ellie's nursery

My toy chest repainted and ready to go to work smashing fingers! Maybe that was just me but I was petrified of it as a kid... It closed so loudly!

The "guest book" from our NC shower

The yard sale crib! A good, clean sale thank you!

Clearly my favorite room now

The guest/study room now

This desk is the only some what nice piece of furniture I owned when I moved to SC. It's been through a lot!

I had to include Ellie's study seat too! It keeps her mildly entertained as I knock out this last semester!

OK... So upstairs is kind of a hang out room. It's mostly john and the dogs that are up there. I haven't put much in decorating it. Blah. Postcards from travel help to remind me that I traveled parts of the world when I didn't work. #collegelife

We have a good sized master bath. I think bathrooms are kinda boring so I won't go there.

Well there you have it. Our humble home. These pictures will be fun to look back on one day. Good things happen/ed here.
