Well...first off is one sweet little baby shower in the 'boro!
Cue....Awww! They look nervous. (I don't think we ever were, but we look so in the picture.)
My mom, aunt Pat, cousins Roxie and Ruthie, and my mom's friend and her daughter threw a beautiful hometown shower for John and I the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was so kind of them to do this and during the holiday wildness. I was so happy to see so many of my family members and friends. It is extra sweet because we don't get to see each other so often...We felt very much loved.
They included some very nice details...

Next was a shower in Travelers Rest, SC...
Our church threw an amazing shower for us and baby Ellie in January. We were overwhelmed by all of the wonderful people who came to show us their love and support. We did not take this lightly as we realized how blessed we and the baby are to have such a loving family to care for all of us. And on a side note...those TRUMC ladies know how to throw a party! I always have enjoyed throwing showers for members in the past along side them and look forward to helping with more parties in the future! It is such a great way to make people feel loved and supported...whether it is a birthday, wedding, upcoming birth or whatever!

We had some more wonderful family friends to make the trip to the church but I don't know how everyone feels about their pictures being posted...
GET READY FOR....maternity pictures!!! (eye rolls from everyone)
hey, that's OK. I get it. But some folks (most) never got to see these. (don't worry, they are PG and I'm not including all of them. It's nice to keep most of them private. Not because they are racy (PUH lease!) but because there are pictures of an intimate moment(s)...whatever, you know what I mean (smile).
And lastly...Ellie's nursery and not so staged maternity pictures. That's ALL folks on the prenatal pictures and stories...and believe me there could be more to tell, but like I said, some things are just private and not be blabbed all over the place. On that note* I do plan to write my next post on Ellie's birth story. PG rated and nooooo medical textbook worthy pictures. All will be clean and smiley!
