An apology to start it off...

It has been a WHILE wouldn't I say? What can I say? ...

I have been more involved (I HATE the word "busy", so overused) with school work lately and I suppose that's more important than blog stuff so there.

Let's see... we are all doing very well. Hope all of you are too! Ellie is almost 2 months old now and she has changed a good bit to look more a baby and less like a newborn. She is still waking up a couple of times at night and does not like to go to sleep at first. When 8 pm rolls around, she begins her protest of not wanting to go to sleep. This is true even though I don't put her down until after 10...

Baths help and I am VERY happy to report she has finally stopped screaming her sweet little head off when we bathe her. Well, once so far, but I'm hopeful it will continue! It breaks my heart to see her scream like...OMG!! WHAT ARE YOU MONSTERS DOING TO ME??!!! while she gets cleaned up. She has now been upgraded from turtle bath sponge to mesh-sitter-up thingy in the her little baby tub. Maybe she likes sitting up more?

Other news...School is almost over until July and the semester has gone really really well. I have great help (Ellie's Grandma/pa Hughes) and my professors have been flexible. John passed one part of his CMA certification (accounting NOT medical assistant :) and has one more to go! I really hope he doesn't mind I posted that...We are just so proud darlin'!

So...here are some pictures of recent weeks. Hope everyone is doing well on this lovely morning!

Oh I just remembered!! Ellie has started to smile!!!! (just a little one) BEST thing yet in baby land!
