Newborn pictures

Here are some newborn pictures I took of Ellie. She LOVED every minute of it (severe sarcasm). But! One day she will look back and be glad I ruined her mornings for 3 days in a row to get these precious pictures!

 I had high hopes of this picture, but she was sooo fussy when I tried to take them....oh well, the others were better anyway

A volunteer at the hospital knitted the hat, and her sweet daddy gave her the birthstone necklace when she was born. I got a matching one!

When I look at these pictures I am reminded (of not only how precious Ellie is!) but also all of the beautiful handmade gifts she received...burp cloths, bibs, blankets, hats...What is shown here is only a fraction of the items Ellie will now always have to show how much others cared about her before she was even born! Made me also wish I had some of that talent...:)
