How to delay studying 101

So I have a class that starts in July and it goes more or less through that month which is then only about 5 weeks. I'm kinda dreading it because it's an all day affair in Spartanburg which is almost an hour away. I'm doing this because while pregnant with sweet Ellie I decided to leave this course for the summer... It's reputation said it is a doozie so I thought it best to leave it off til later.
But! It is a REALLY important class so in a way I'm interested to get started...and done. All that gabbing to get to this point...I'm trying to ready myself now.

I'm reading books, notes, studying meds and watching movies to prepare (or at least I plan to).

The problem is I'm already dragging my feet to get rolling. So here is what I have done to delay the process:

An H wreath (I did the chalkboard last year)

Ellie's mobile

I made the bows, not the bands ;)

Room decor...see ombré button H ( I did the random painting too but that is another story...)

Ellie is modeling a new headband (new to her, old t shirt to me!)
There were a few other random things but nothing crazy and another thing I can't show yet :)

I gave myself a 2 week deadline for these fun projects and I'm past it now. I'm happy with myself...just got to get crackin now. In all honesty though.. This time with Ellie is so much fun. I know it is short lived but I LOVE being able to spend this time with her. Thank God and john (cause he is working hard!) for this time. If we are so fortunate and blessed to have more children, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to have this much time at home with them.

Little Ellie-funt :)

  1. Hi Brittany, I love your blog!
It's great to keep up with you and Ellie while I'm so far away! (You even inspired me to create a blog..I just don't have a cute kid to put in it!)
Hope y'all are having a great summer, and although I am no where near ready for fall classes to start, I am looking forward to seeing everyone again...and you will do just fine in that summer class,no worries :)
