A different way to get movin'

A couple of weekends ago, we decided to FINALLY explore some of the beautiful national parks in our vicinity. The closest (and frankly the easiest) was in Parris Mountain just 20 minutes away. We took Georgia with us on this chilly day to walk a bit. She needs to get out more alone. She has a tendency to wimp out without the other two dog with us. And while I'm getting on a tangent about the dogs, we are trying everyday now to take one or two out for walks. I know some pet owners are great about already doing this, but we weren't (We do at least have a fenced in backyard). So anyway I mention this to help keep us accountable.

Back to the story...Though it was a short little hike, it was still so enjoyable. Ellie was strapped in her carrier and John and Georgia lead the way. Ellie loved it too as she loves to be outside. She was so enjoying it she fell asleep ; )

This is how I prefer to get moving. I've  never been a huge fan of the gym as I'd rather be outdoors and not purposefully exercise, but rather include it in everyday

 A beaver was here???

activity. I do so enjoy walking with Ellie and look forward to going on more little hikes with my family.

And as far as the gym goes...I'm working on it. I go more with John now and I mostly run. Hopefully it will continue when work kicks in.  We shall see! But no matter, I will always continue to share this time with my family.
