April in Review

April

April went by in a blur but slowly as well. Easter is such a peaceful time, so much more so than Christmas. We had a beautiful time with church and family.

We started April with a egg hunt at church. Ellie had more fun this year than she did last. Last year she didn't want to get down and look for eggs until after her age group had already gone. Next year she will be with the big kids so best get her game ready! They had cute little toys in the eggs instead of candy.

oh and Evie being a princess!

We have had some magnificent weather in April which meant lunches on the porch at times! We are enjoying it so. Pictures to come!

 

Time at the park while we can during the week. It was so quiet that day and we had such a great time together. Me and the girls :)

So our town had a Easter celebration and we got to go and enjoy another hunt with the community! We also met a famous set of sisters :)

Precious Evie turned 5 months! I said this about Ellie too but really she is the best baby! So happy and so sweet. Just loves us, eats well, sleeps pretty well and rolls over now! She loves to watch Ellie. She is drooling like mad but no teeth in sight.

Thanks to John's company we went to a baseball game early this year! It was still so warm but bearable. Last year I was (or at least felt) super pregnant and it was so.stinking.hot. But alas we had fun, Ellie got a baseball from the game and Evie was over it the quickest of all of us ; ) But the food! I'll always be there for the food.

My babies in their wagon. We still love our neighborhood walks while its still kinda cool.

We went to the zoo on Good Friday and so did most of Greenville haha. It was Evie's first time there! Ellie's favorite part was the barnyard animals again. Who needs lions when you've got chickens...Ha!

We went to John's grandmothers like traditionally we do every year and we once again had a great time with everyone. The family is growing and it gets more fun every year. This year: 2 new spouses, 2 new babies!

Got a new pool for the Summer!!! Our old one had a hole (or a few...) so we upgraded. This one is little, um, busy but Ellie likes it! All that matters...and it was in budget.
